Webelo Scouts

Being a Webelo scout is an important achievement!   Webelo scouting is an exciting and challenging time for 4th and 5th grade boys or boys who are 9- 10.5 years old.  While boys can continue to wear an official blue Cub Scout shirt, they can also choose to wear the khaki shirt of the Boy Scouts!

Meetings are held once a week and are focused on earning very specific achievement awards.  These activities include swimming, hiking, first aid, camping skills, camp outs, theatrical arts, computers and learning about the world around us.  Webelo Scouts practice good citizenship and are learning what Boy Scouting is all about!

The Webelo Scouts earn awards for their achievements in the form of  patches, pins and belt loops which are worn on their uniform. The ultimate goal is to positively stimulate and develop the minds and bodies of these boys and to prepare them for Cross-Over into Boy Scouts! Upon accomplishement, the boys will earn their "Arrow of Light".

Webelo Scouts also participate in Pack activities such as the monthly Pack meeting, camp outs, the Pine Wood Derby and more!
